Wolf of Wall Street

Another good movie coming from Martin Scorsese. This one's a real life story of Jordan Belfort which does make me think about the ingenuity of some people that America has witnessed over the years. It's a glimpse of 80s America and the influence or/and events that somehow justify drug addiction, corruption, debauchery for some people. The film is funny, pacey and yet manages to give attention to important scenes. It makes you constantly pay attention and three hours do not seem all that long. Great acting, directing and screenplay. Leonardo Di Caprio, Margot Robbie (with excellent Jersey accent), and Jonah Hill were all excellent. This is Leonardo's second comedy of sorts after "Catch me if you can " and he delivers brilliantly.

One rather amusing detail I could not help but notice is how many times Kyle Chandler always manages to play some secret agent for FBI :)

Overall Rating: Excellent
