I am in no way related to Robin Williams and have not even watched a whole lot of his performances but I still feel sad whenever I hear about the news of Robin Williams's passing. And in that sadness, I watch his performances online and be happy again. Robin was truly a delight to watch. I have mostly seen him as talk show guest and so far watched three of his movies, Aladdin, Jumanji and Good Will Hunting (for which he got a Oscar nomination and win). Now, I will watch his other great acts that I have added to a list like Good Morning, Vietnam, Mrs Doubtfire, Insomnia and Death to Smoochy.
Not only was Robin a great comedian but a terrific actor in general having received multiple Oscar nominations. As I am reading more about him, I admire him more for the unspoken generosity and kindness he showed to those he met. It must be truly a hallmark of a good man if someone who never met him says these things.
