This Is Where I Leave You Movie Review

This is a simple, exciting and fun movie to watch with comedy, drama, and everything mixed into it. It tells the story of four siblings who lose their father and are asked by their mother to come back home for a week to give him a proper farewell (their are ulterior motives for this however, which is a SPOILER so I would not reveal it). The performances are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. Jason Bateman plays a husband who has just lost his marriage as he finds his wife cheating and he has seemingly nothing going for him right now. And he plays his part wonderfully. I was suprised by Tina Fey's acting in the movie. She was funny (no surprises there) but also turned into a serious actress when there was a need. I loved her performance. I am starting to like Adam Driver's acting and he is the one I think for the future. He has been good in whatever movie I have seen him in (the last was "What If"). The film is a family entertainer and could make you teary eyed as well if you are too light hearted but it does teach you something about how uncomfortable family can be and yet how wonderful and desired.

Overall Review: Wonderful
