PK is a well made movie with a good script, direction, acting and easy on the ear songs. The story is somewhat similar to last year's release "Oh My God!". However, it is explained and portrayed differently. First to acting. Aamir Khan finally returns to what he does best, after the debacle of Dhoom 3. His choice of films seems to have found the right groove again. Aamir plays the titular character called "PK", an alien who finds himself lost on Earth and then during his time here, challenges the long established ideals of humanity. The film treads on a controversial topic but it is a movie after all and is meant to be enjoyed. I must say the movie does provide plenty of that. The comedy in the movie is great as well as drama. Although, the drama factor goes a bit too far later in the movie. I am amazed at the ability of some people in the newsroom to be able to call the long lost boyfriend of the lead actress within a matter of seconds. Also, I do not like when the movie's character becomes too big towards the end. The movie was fun when it happened with a small circle of people or in a town. That had a bigger impact for me than the protagonist challenging the whole country. Anyways, an enjoyable film. On an ending note,
Aamir should work on getting Andaz Apna Apna 2 now. He still retains that comedic timing.
