Finding Neverland Movie Review

I am reviewing a relatively old movie this time as I am trying to refresh my catalog. This is a story of author J.M Barrie and his journey to creating one of the well known and beloved characters, Peter Pan. It is a strange connection that personal tragedies or difficulties
lead the way to a spark of creativity in the mind of the author. This movie emotionally portrays that same grief that was in the Sir Barrie's life and in the life of the Llewelyn Davies family. This is the movie I can think of where Johnny Depp, as the creator of Peter Pan, truly showed his class as an actor.  He had a great chemistry with a then very young and awesome actor, Freddie Highmore, who plays the real life Peter. Kate Winslet was amazing as always. The movie was nominated for 6 academy awards. All the actors in the movie bring a heartfelt and grounded emotion of troubles that would have been faced by these characters. I looked at the wikipedia page for Mr. Barrie after watching the movie, and it's an interesting read in itself. There was so much more to read. One last mention is the movie's score which was a pleasant hearing although I do think, Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban's score should have won the Oscar that year.

My recommendation: Must Watch.
