Furious 7 Review

This movie continues on the entertainment levels created by the previous one and takes it up a notch with a more emotional side of course because of the tragic passing of Paul Walker. However, the movie does not go over the top pushing his character too much. The movie felt a Fast and Furious movie full of flying cars, ridiculous action and cheeky one-liners. The plot is nothing new and the movie isn't about it as well and the know it. The Rock has great charisma and action scenes whenever he appears on screen. I do wish they hadn't shown the car flying through a high-rise building(s) in the trailers but it was fun to watch it again on the IMAX screen.  Some negatives for me were some disjointed breaks between action scenes and dramatic (for a Fast and Furious movie) scenes. They just had to go to apparently every place in the world within minutes to resolve some issue or the other. And Michelle Rodriguez's contantly going away from Vin Diesel only to return back took me out of the movie for a bit. But the positives were more than enough. And they did gave Paul Walker a great farewell. It was heartfelt and he will be missed. I am not sure if they are going to make a sequel but it might depend on how much this movie makes and something tells me it will be a lot.

Overall Review: Fun (One must not care too much about the dialogue or logic)
