Toy Story Movie Review

Now I know why Toy Story is so beloved. However, I do feel most animated movies do turn out to be good money for studios. Toy Story, however, is one with a story and heart. I would never have thought a movie with toys could be so good. But, as I now know, Pixar usually does an amazing job. I have already seen the final part of this trilogy so I am not a new audience but this first part made me happy and know about the origins of how it all started. Toy Story is a story about a cowboy toy called Woody who, after being the favorite of the child Andy, is now pushed aside with the arrival of action packed Buzz Lightyear. Buzz isn't a villain in the movie but the movie portrays human emotion so beautifully. Anyone in a family can feel left out by a new person as they become someone's favorite. But the point is that they still remain part of the family. And that is what all of Andy's toys are; family. In the end its not just Andy's but also the cruel kid Sid's toys that become a part of the toy family as well as they help Woody and Buzz escape Sid. The film has such a sweet simple story and such good animation. It is a perfect entertainment.
