Spectre tries to combine all of Bond's past into one storyline but failed to do so convincingly in my opinion. The events from the past were brought up but never elaborated which I think would have made the story much more interesting for me. I like Christoph Waltz but his character appeared so suddenly into Bond's life I found it hard to follow his story and motivations. I also was not on board with the Bond song in this one.
Now where the movie does well is through Daniel Craig who has established himself as one of the best Bond's of all time. He portrays all of 007's charisma and nonchalance with a darker undertone perfectly. Lea Seydoux is also a revelation. She got recognized for her performance in Blue is the warmest color and she seems to continue on that good form. The set design and the classic Bond theme makes the movie look gorgeous and the action scenes are highly entertaining. And Q played by Ben Wishaw is a scene stealer.
Must watch if you want to see the last of Daniel Craig as Bond.
