The Good Dinosaur is another movie from Pixar Animation after Inside Out and while it doesn't live up to the high standards of that movie, Good Dinosaur is still a fun and emotional movie to watch.The story is a generic one of a lost dinosaur, Arlo, who finds his way back to his home whilst learning the importance of family, friend and courage. It is not a deeply engaging film but it is still not Cars and I would still give this a good rating.
I feel it is really hard for Pixar to mess up any movie as I see the dedication and effort they put into each of these films. And with each film, it seems they push the boundaries in some department. The Good Dinosaur stood out to me with its vibrant colors that never seemed too much for their own good. The leaves, the water, the bugs all appeared so colorful it cheered me up. The voiceovers I liked the best was of the cowboy T-Rexes that help Arlo along his path. They made me chuckle.
Families will love this movie. Congrats Pixar
