This is an indie movie about Ann Burden (Margot Robbie) surviving in a post-apocalyptic world and how her life changes when she meets two men John (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Caleb (Chris Pine). The plot is a simple as it can get so the movie really depends on the the three actors and their chemistry. All three excelled at that but Margot and Chiwetel were the stars for me. They carried the story wonderfully displaying a wide but just enough range of emotions which makes the story grounded. The pace is slow which might turn some viewers off but I got involved in watching the performances so it was ok with me. I am trying to find something else to write about but this movie really does not have that much to explain.
