Joel Edgerton plays an awkward man, Gordo with a traumatizing past who tries to get back on Simon (Jason Bateman) for ruining his life as a kid. The movie is simple yet complex and entertaining to watch through good acting by everyone including Rebecca Hall who plays Simon's wife. I cannot imagine the difficulty of writing, directing and acting in a film and Joel deserves huge credit. The ending made me a little dissatisfied but then considering the tone and story of the movie it felt right. Words can have such big impact.
I would not qualify this on the same scale as Prisoners or Nightcrawler which is one of the best psychological thriller I have seen but it is still worth watching little movie.
