Amidst harsh adversities, choosing a path of crime
Dialogues to engage, Foster robbed of recognition
Although to be my cup of tea, not as fine
Next comes Arrival
Teaching the importance of communication
And violence not being the only solution
Amy Adams sure deserved a nomination
La La Land had us singing the tunes
Of the ones who dream
Foolish as it may seem
Here's to the hearts that ache
Here's to the mess we make
The best was Hidden Figures
Inspiring story of the women
Who help put man in space
The dream, the final frontier, amen
Moonlight, Fences and Lion remain
Unfortunately I haven't seen
