I watched this movie on my flight to London recently. This is a lot of fun to avoid getting bored on the flight. Colossal is a science fiction comedy movie about an unemployed woman, Gloria (Anne Hathaway) who is struggling with her drinking problem and unbeknownst to her causing destruction in South Korea as a giant monster.Yes, that summary sounds strange and it is but if you can get past it and give the movie a chance, I feel you can enjoy the story with all its oddity and an excellent performance from the lead actress and well supported by other cast. It is nice to see such a big name actor agreeing to be a part of the movie written and directed by Nacho Vigalo

There are a lot of plot holes but I was able to ignore all of them and had a fun time watching this movie which helped me lose some hours off my tiring flight.
Definitely recommend it.
