Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle Review

Dwayne Johnson has managed to finish the year on a high after some of the bad films he starred in earlier in the year, ahem Baywatch and although he was great in this movie, he is not the best part of the film.

Jumanji is an excellent film for everyone to enjoy in the theaters, friends, family anyone. I was laughing or had a smile almost throughout its run time. Jack Black as the young teenage girl, is the best part although all of the other three main characters (Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Dwayne)
had fantastic chemistry with each other. The director Jake Kasdan does a great job showcasing this chemistry on the big screen and allowing every character to have their moment. He also does well to not over do the comedy to the point where it goes over the top. In a way, the movie is kind of a throwback to old family movies proving that they can still work in todays world.

Honestly, the only slight problem (if any) I had with the movie was Nick Jonas's character although he got saved once again by his excellent character interactions with the amazing Jack Black.

If they stick to this formula, I would love to see these characters return.
