A major credit for the movie goes to its unknown writer, Rebecca Blunt whose screenplay caused Soderbergh to come out of retirement. The writing is funny with lots of twists and turns throughout especially the ending which I must admit I never saw coming.
Adam and Channing play the Logan brothers (Clyde and Jimmy respectively) who forge a master plan to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway after Jimmy is fired from a construction job at the site. They recruit Joe Bang (Daniel Craig) and their sister Mellie (Riley) for the job. The fun I was having before the actual robbery starts continues. I liked the part where I thought the movie had ended only to realize that there was another layer to Jimmy's robbery plan. Steven Soderbergh tells the story in such a fast paced way, I never got bored yet I understood the whole plot as each next scene implicitly explained what went on before so we as a audience are always caught up.
The film definitely has a Ocean's Eleven vibe with Steven directing that one too.
Excellent entertainment!
