Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse Review

Before I was the Dark Knight's fan, I was a Spiderman fan. This movie is everything Spiderman I could have asked for. It introduces us to our new Spiderman, Miles Morales who becomes a hero by the end of the movie with the help of some friendly-alternate-dimension Spider people. And it is a fun adventure!

First of all, the animation style is breathtaking to watch on the big screen. I have a feeling it will look even better in 3D. It is like a comic book frame come to life page by page. Kudos to all the film crew for out of the box thinking. And on top off that, everything that comes with the movie is just as good be it the music, action, story and emotion. And even with the seemingly confusing concept, it was not hard at all to understand except perhaps one piece involving Gwen Stacy's appearance in Miles's life.

All the voice actors are perfectly cast starting with Miles (Shameik Moore) and Peter Parker (Jake Johnson) to basically everyone. Nicholas Cage, John Mulaney, Hailee Steinfeld and the list goes on!

This film is a tribute to all of Spiderman history both in films and comics and it is such a wonderful tribute. I was laughing and smiling throughout the film. One of the best movies I have seen this year, maybe the best!
